Networking, exchanging and informing: The EUROBAUSTOFF FORUM 2024 attracted 3,600 people to Cologne over two days - the order fair was therefore once again a complete success for the cooperation! This year's FORUM 2024 took place on November 3 and 4 with over 200 exhibitors on an area of 14,000 m² in Cologne's exhibition hall 4.1. The retail sector focused on forward-looking innovations for 2025 at the central EUROBAUSTOFF stand. Here, visitors were able to find out about many thematic highlights. “We are delighted that we were once again able to present many topics and products to our shareholders,” said Peter Abraham, EUROBAUSTOFF Retail Division Manager, at the end of the order fair.
The main topics in 2024:
E-commerce
By entering the online retail market with DIY products, you keep your finger on the pulse! At FORUM 2024, the cooperation's own solution (B2X master clone) was presented, which not only gives you the opportunity to sell products online, but also the chance to retain customers in the long term. Visitors can now benefit from the range of selected online marketplaces and expand their reach by gaining access to a new target group.
AusstellungDigital
The EUROBAUSTOFF AusstellungDigital concept impressively demonstrated how it brings the digital and analog worlds together. Simulated room situations combined with the haptic experience of real product samples: this is where the strengths of bricks-and-mortar retail are combined with the advantages of the Internet. What does your living room look like with the new wooden tiles? Or the terrace with the modern patio tiles? The AI tool in the interior and exterior configurator provides the answer! The customer uploads their own room photo and can then adapt and edit it as required.
Infokom
Think digital, act future-proof - industry software, cooperation solutions and tailored IT services from a single source: at the EUROBAUSTOFF FORUM, visitors learned all about electronic price labeling (ESL), simple checkout solutions and the practical self-checkout system.
Retail brand Prima
More successful through benchmarking: At the order fair, visitors were able to discover their Prima sales potential at the Prima retail brand stand. The simple check quickly provided insightful information about which TOP products they should favor for sales and whether these are in stock at the central warehouse.
In addition to the new flooring and decking products, the Prima brand also presented its brand new tile range. Another component was the latest product range modules that can be used to equip stores and increase sales.
Retail brand OPUS1
Following the success of the spring 2024 campaign, visitors learned about the next steps and how they can perfectly integrate the high-quality retail brand OPUS1 into their product range to increase their margins even further.
Next level marketing
Higher, faster, further is what the new marketing cockpit will carry from 2025. At the order fair, visitors experienced the premiere and a first insight into the new central marketing platform.
Awarding of the supplier prize
The highlight of the evening event on the first FORUM day was traditionally the presentation of the supplier award for special achievements by industry partners in the category management areas of "Technology", "Garden", "Wood", "Sanitary", "Decoration" and, for the first time, "Newcomer".
Peter Abraham and his deputy Joachim Schock, EUROBAUSTOFF Head of Category Management Retail, presented the coveted trophies in the presence of around 1,700 guests from the shareholder and exhibitor circles.
Technology: Fischer
In the Technology category, the Fischer Group, Waldachtal, came out on top with its fastening technology product portfolio.
Garden: Ziegler
In the "Garden" category, the Upper Palatinate soil and fuel plant Ziegler was once again honoured as a long-standing and reliable industry partner and private label supplier.
Wood: Brügmann
In the "Wood" category, Brügmann Traumgarten from Dortmund received the best marks as a leading supplier of products and systems for gardens, patios and balconies.
Sanitary: Upmann
In the "Sanitary" category, the choice fell on the private label supplier Upmann from Rietberg, which is characterised by a wide range of products, but also by consistency and reliability.
Decoration: Brennenstuhl
In the "Decoration" category, the Tübingen-based family business Brennenstuhl received the award for its extensive product portfolio with the highest quality and safety standards.
Newcomer: WD-40 Company
The Bad Homburg-based WD-40 Company was honoured in the new "Newcomer" category. With their vote, the shareholders recognised the high level of awareness of the products as versatile problem solvers.
Entertaining evening event
A relaxed get-together at an atmospheric evening event to reflect on an exciting first day at the trade fair - this was also a must at the Order Fair 2024. Here, visitors were not only able to actively network, but also chat extensively with their colleagues over exquisite delicacies and refreshing drinks. DJ Goofy provided the musical entertainment again this year, drawing everyone to the dance floor.
